Nakakainis dahil R-18 yung movie na 'The Da Vinci Code'. Isa pa naman yun sa PINAKA-inabangan kong movie ever. Well, maybe ito ang movie na as in inabangan ko sa buong buhay ko. Actually, mejo naiintindihan ko kung bakit R-18 'tong movie na to. Ang point nga ng MTRCB, 'may mga content ung movie na matured audience lang ang pwedeng makapanood.' Yah may point sila doon. Pero naisip ko lang... Hindi ba nila na-realize na napakaraming tao na ang edad ay 18 pababa ang nakabasa ng book version of the 'The Vinci Code'? at sa totoo lang, I believe na hindi naman sila naapektuhan sa nabasa nila. In short, they are matured enough 2 distinguish what is fact and what is fiction. So i think that it's still a little unfair na mga 18+ lang ang makakapanood ng movie. Isa pa sa kinakainisan ko eh yung mga taong nagproprotesta na i-BAN daw yung Da Vinci Code. Oo nga at hindi ito ipina-ban ng MTRCB pero talagang may mga pasaway pa rin. Sinasabi nila na it's blasphemous chuva chuva and Dan Brown should be condemned together w/ the ridiculous movie. And the hell! The people who actually made this big fuss haven't actually watched the movie nor even read the book! This movie is not even an issue to begin with. It even claims itself to be FICTION. Those conservative catholics say that the book and the movie is full of malice, blasphemy, and is ridiculous. But my gosh! They are the one's who are RIDICULOUS because they are putting malice on a book that doesn't even have malice in it. They don't know what they are saying. They claim that it attacks the Christian Faith and maligns it and that we should ban the movie! And if we did that, they also claim that we will be a great example in the Christian community since we protected the divinity of Jesus Christ. Well I don't think so because if we ban the said movie, we'll be even the laughing stock of the whole world since we actually let ourselves be bothered by a mere movie that even claims itself to be a work of fiction. It will only prove that our faith is as thin as a paper. Those folks who wants the movie banned are just afraid to loooooose their faith! How pathetic. I believe that if you have a TRUE and SOLID faith, you will not let yourself be bothered by a mere 489 page-book that even claims itself to be FICTION. And what if one day... You will learn that Jesus Christ really did marry and conceived a child w/ Mary Magdalene? Would you turn your back away from him? Did you believe in him just because of his DIVINITY? Is that all?? When you pray to him during the night... What do you think? His divinity OR his sufferings??

This movie/book is just a test of faith for everybody... Well maybe it's not even a test.
